Krishna Anachala

Staff Emergency Physician at the Hospital for Sick Children.
Her background includes residency training in pediatrics and fellowship training in pediatric emergency medicine at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital and Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. During her fellowship, she also participated in the NIH-funded Clinical Research Scholars Program, earning a Master of Science degree in clinical research while examining efficacy of written asthma treatment plans in pediatric patients.
In addition to providing clinical service in the pediatric emergency department, Dr. Anchala has led hospital wide patient safety initiatives, assisted with provincial trauma planning for pediatrics and has interests including novel curriculum development and emergency department in situ training. As Sick Kids’ pediatric emergency lead for community partnerships and alliances, Dr. Anchala works to improve pediatric emergency care across the GTA.
