Lianne McLean

Dr. McLean is a member of the Point-of-Care Ultrasound and Paediatric Emergency Medicine teams at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. She completed medical school at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, followed by Paediatric residency at the University of Manitoba and Winnipeg Children’s Hospital. She moved to Toronto to complete her Paediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship at the University of Toronto and Hospital for Sick Children where she acted as Chief Fellow in her final year. Subsequently, she completed a year of training as a Point-of-care Ultrasound fellow at the Hospital for Sick Children. Outside of her clinical duties, she is undertaking a Master’s in Health Informatics at the University of Toronto, with current projects looking at technology integration into clinical care.
